Poston is Founder & Executive Director of The Poston Foundation and Co-Founder & Managing Officer of Chakhead, LLC. He previously founded and managed the Columbia, South Carolina law firm Chalmers Poston, LLC.

Education & legal background

He earned a B.S. in Psychology from Duke University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Before founding his own firm, he practiced civil litigation, including healthcare and professional-liability matters.

Nonprofit leadership

At The Poston Foundation, he leads governance, compliance, fundraising, communications, program development, partnership activity, Carolina Cares, and the Poston Preserve Initiative.
